designed by Michael Schmidt, Matthias Kordwig and Ulrich Sattler, Avveni is a new modular lighting system that can illuminate as a single spotlight or as a extensible ceiling light structure. Avveni was created as a modular system that can easily be adapted to different interiors and extended in various directions as required. The system is surprisingly flexible – the lamp can be used as a floor or table lamp, mounted on a ceiling or even suspended as a pendant light. Michael Schmidt and Ulrich Sattler, company owner of SATTLER GmbH, envisaged a complete lighting system right from the start of the project, developing the concept of a track or net structure based on the individual lamp together with the C2D team.
