Michael Schmidt has designed a new weather-resistant dining table and bench set for all year round outdoor use – the collection was created for the small yet mighty brand OCQ – Outdoor Cooking Queen – the premium alfresco kitchen specialist.
The table and bench sets are crafted in thermally-treated solid ash with additional oil impregnation. It was also important to Nadine Pollex and Michael Schmidt to create a product that would be sustainable, which is the reason behind their choice of thermally-treated ash which is not only chemical-free but also an eco-friendly alternative to tropical wood, owing to its degree of hardness and weather-resistance.
